Hail Storm in Richmond Utah.
Residents of Cache County woke up bright and early to a massive pre-summer hail storm. As you can see from the picture below hail was large in size and came down all at once like a massive unload of artillery. Skies were dark, grey almost black in color as these huge flakes of hardened precipitation fell. photos by Nan Miller

Freedom To Speak at Public Meetings - Local Over Regulation
Are plain every day citizens allowed to voice their concerns on any topic relating to Cache County at council meetings? Are those in power within city councils and the cache county council creating a local nanny state by over-regulating everything we do in the name of safety? watch our opinion show below

Memorial Day Covered in Snow
A Tropical Cana started the day with snow on itʼs leaves....as NORTHERN UTAH residents awakened to find about an inch and a half of snow on the yard. The snow continued to the benches and up into the Mountains, with the clouds hiding the top of Mt.Ogden. Plans for a big barbeque started out in the cooler as the unseasonal snow surprised holiday chefs. Looking at the rooftops and moving across Ogden and the Valley to the Great Salt Lake we see the snow changed to rain at lower elevations, but put a damper on Holiday celebrations today. In Ogden about 1.5 inches of snow covered the ground, surprising the tropical plants out for the summer. The low lying clouds ran right up against the foothills of the Wasatch Range and continued to lightly snow during early morning hours. Across the valley the snow reached out to about the 4,300 foot level, with rain continuing to drench soggy Northern Utah

Pineview Reservoir Tries to Dump Water Without Flooding
The gates are open as Pineview Reservoir tries to dump as much water as possible without flooding downstream. However, Pineview is almost full. And experts say there is enough water to come into Pineview in the next few weeks to fill it again.....and more so. Water is as high as the flood gates on the dam and soon officials will have no choice but to open the gates more, increasing flooding all along the Ogden River as a lot of melting snow is still in the mountains. Some flooding is occurring now along the Canyon Road. Below the dam water is almost as high as the road, and threatens many homes along the river. Roaring thru the narrows, the flood waters are very dangerous, and it is going to get worse. At the mouth of Ogden Canyon Rainbow Gardens sits with the water pounding now against the flood walls. Water has risen in the past to flood the lower basement of the HIstoric Resort now Utahʼs leading Gift Center.
